>> I am the assistant director of Stewardship Communications here at Temple University. I work in strategic marketing and communications. What my role entails is a wide breath of responsibilities. Primarily, I am focused on doing communications from the University to our financial donors and alumni. That entails a number of things. I work on sending thank you letters and notes to donors who contribute to the University. I write stories about our donors and our students for our University publications. I also create newsletters, brochures, a whole variety of communications that we send out to these folks. One of the cool things about that job is that I have the opportunity to interact with students, with alumni, with financial supporters, and I also am able to work with very high ranking university officials, with the president's office, with the vice president on institutional advancement. So a lot of important folks in the Temple community. As a Temple alumnus, I really enjoy that opportunity, and I'm proud to be representing the University as somebody who went here and who really benefited from the opportunities of being a Temple Owl. Today is our Gallery of Success where we are acknowledging some of the most successful alumni to come to Temple. We do that every year. I'll be attending that in a few hours, helping to work on that event and write about the people who are receiving the awards this year. I'll also be doing some more work as far as thanking some of the donors and just kind of filling out my day-to-day responsibilities. So it's a busy day, but it's actually also a very exciting time because there's a lot of activity on campus today. There are a lot of amazing people who are going to be coming back here, and I'll kind of get a chance to talk to a lot of them, and we'll just really have an opportunity to kind of celebrate the Temple community, and I love days like this when I get to come down to campus and just have an exciting time and see a lot of cool things going on that really represent the Temple community extremely well.
